On Thursday, May 5th, Studio A Salon owner David Armendariz entertained more than 100 A-listers at his chic West U Salon (2411 Sunset Blvd.) for its second annual Cinco De Mayo celebration.

The festive fiesta raised funds for the non-profit, All Our Hearts Ministry, a Christian based 501 (c)(3) which provides urgent treatment and preventative medical care for those in need in third world countries. Armendariz honored his Mexican heritage and his love of dance with this festive fiesta which supports a charity that is near and dear to his heart.

Upon arrival, the guests and A-Listers enjoyed the ease of valet parking sponsored by Simone on Sunset. They made their way through the chic boutique salon, then mingled under a party tent authentically decorated with piñatas and shimmering streamers. Margaritas and an assortment of Mexican beers were free flowing throughout the night. Tasty bites were on hand thanks to the taco truck Tacos El Ranchero and delicious desserts were made by Dolce Delights.

The highlight of the evening was a dynamic performance by Sin Fronteras Ballet Folklorico. Models were wearing luxury retail brands Shu Uemura and MUD (Make-up designory) that night, and lucky guests took home goodie bags filled with products from Shu Uemura, MUD and Kerastase.
